“Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;” –Psalm 1:5
When that day comes, there will be nothing arbitrary or ambiguous about the end of the wicked. It will not be arbitrary because his was a conscious, intentional choice executed in degrees. First, he chose to walk in the counsel of the wicked rather than delight in the Law of the Lord. Next, he stood in the way of sinners. Finally, the wicked man planted himself in the seat of scoffers.
Not only is his end not arbitrary, but it also is not ambiguous. One does not have to guess or wonder about the end of those who choose to not delight in the Law of the Lord.
At the final judgment, neither the wicked nor the sinner will have a leg to stand on because each chose his own seat in the congregation of the scoffers.
