Confidence in Prayer

Scott Postma — April 22, 2020

Crumbs Logo“And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” (Matthew 6:7–8, ESV)

Increasing the number of empty phrases used in prayer doesn’t bend the Father’s ear any closer.

Pray is asking. Asking the Omnipotent Father who knows what we need beforehand is confidence in prayer.
